Ultimate Fridge Slides
Product Care Guide
Your Ultimate Fridge Slide is built tough for Aussie conditions, but a little care goes a long way in keeping it performing at its best for years to come.
Regular Cleaning
- Wipe down the slide with a damp cloth after trips, especially if exposed to dust, mud, or salt air.
- Avoid using harsh chemicals—mild soap and water is all you need.
- Make sure the slide is completely dry before storing your vehicle or gear long-term.
Lubrication
- Apply a light lubricant (like silicone spray or dry lube) to the slide rails every few months or after heavy use.
- Avoid oil-based lubricants that attract dust and grit.
Check Fasteners
- Periodically inspect all bolts, screws, and mounting points to ensure they remain tight and secure.
- If you hear rattling or feel movement, check for loose fittings and re-tighten as needed.
Avoid Overloading
- Stick to the recommended weight limit (see Specifications page).
- Overloading can cause wear on the bearings and reduce the lifespan of the slide.
Storage Tips
- If not in use for extended periods, consider removing the fridge and covering the slide to protect it from dust and UV exposure.
- Store in a dry, covered area when possible.
After Beach or Off-Road Use
- Rinse off any salt, sand, or red dust as soon as possible.
- Salt and fine dust can accelerate wear and corrosion if left untreated.
